VP of Products – Safety & AI

ECSafety.AI | Full-Time

About ECSafety.AI

ECSafety.AI is redefining how the construction, telecommunications, and industrial sectors manage safety and compliance. Our AI-powered platform helps contractors eliminate risk, streamline inspections, and protect their most valuable asset — their people. As we scale, we’re looking for a builder-minded product leader to help shape the next chapter of our growth.

The Role

This is not a seat-warmer position. As VP of Products – Safety & AI, you’ll own the full product lifecycle — from raw idea to shipped feature to measurable impact in the field. You’ll work at the intersection of emerging AI technology and real-world worker safety, turning complex problems into intuitive, powerful tools that keep people safe on job sites across the country.

You’ll report directly to executive leadership and have seasonal leadership responsibility over product engineering — meaning you’ll step in to guide, align, and accelerate engineering efforts at critical points in the product development cycle. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, love getting your hands dirty, and know how to bring a product vision all the way to production — this role was built for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive ECSafety.AI‘s product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization across our AI, inspection, and compliance product lines
  • Provide seasonal leadership over product engineering teams during key development cycles, launches, and pivots — bridging the gap between vision and execution
  • Lead cross-functional product teams while staying deeply connected to development cycles, customer feedback, and field realities
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and translate them into differentiated product features — from concept through design, development, and launch
  • Partner with customers, frontline workers, and industry stakeholders to ensure our products solve real problems, not theoretical ones
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies — including AI agents, computer vision, wearables, and real-time monitoring — into the ECSafety platform
  • Build strong feedback loops between the field, sales, and engineering to continuously improve product-market fit
  • Define and track key product metrics, using data to make smart trade-offs and communicate clearly with leadership and the board

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of product leadership experience, with a track record of building and shipping SaaS and AI-powered products from the ground up
  • Advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience providing leadership over product engineering teams — including direct or matrix management during critical build cycles
  • Hands-on expertise with SaaS product development, including subscription model dynamics, multi-tenant architecture considerations, and continuous delivery practices
  • Proven experience productizing AI and machine learning capabilities into user-facing applications that drive real outcomes — not just demos
  • A builder’s mindset: you’re energized by creating something from nothing and solving problems others walk past
  • Proven ability to lead without perfect information, align cross-functional teams, and deliver in ambiguous environments
  • Comfort moving between the C-suite and the job site — you can present to executives and talk shop with field technicians
  • Experience with worker safety, OSHA compliance, EHS platforms, or related domains is a strong plus

Why ECSafety.AI

  • High-impact role with meaningful ownership at a company on a steep growth curve
  • Work on products that directly protect workers’ lives every day
  • Collaborate with a passionate, mission-driven team pushing the boundaries of AI in a sector ready for disruption
  • Competitive compensation, equity participation, and benefits

ECSafety.AI is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diverse teams build better products and are committed to an inclusive workplace. This is full-time position in Campbell, CA or Dallas, TX.
